Reiki

As a Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Reiki Ryōhō tradition, I am happy to provide a tailored service to suit the individual.

Loosley translated Reiki means 'universal life energy'. Treatments can be carried out either lying down or seated and no clothing, except parhaps shoes, needs to be removed.

Hands are placed gently on and/or around the client in various positions while natural healing energy is channelled to where it's needed. Generally there will be an experience of calmness with possible tingling as the energy flows.

It is not necessary to have any "illnesses or problems" to benefit from the energizing effects of a Reiki treatment. Some people just love the feelings of peacefulness it can bring or use it as a spiritual or physical "pick me up".
